Notes

The Fool would be a Favourite and Osmond the Great Turk presented an editorial challenge when deciding which issues to include in the EMED corpus. Greg argues that they were likely always issued together (as Wing C582), though they are sometimes found alone, and are bibliographically independent (as Wing C579 and C580). EEBO-TCP transcriptions exist for C579 and C580, and are included in EMED as separate playbooks, which also adheres to our preference of including the lowest bibliographic number when choosing between issues of the same year.
